just being yourself can bring the most amazing memories.
for the longest time i always thought things would be better off without plans.
and i was right.
the most wonderful things happen unexpectedly.
you may not realize it but everyone runs on a schedule.
wake up, go to school, come home, do afternoon tasks, then go to bed.
but lets say something gets in the way of routine.
sometimes it causes a domino effect.
and that's when moments count the most.
that's when the things you remember for the rest of your life happen.
me and my family had made plans to go on a trip to texas over break.
i had to work,
so my family left a day before me.
so i was driving all by myself to texas,
and my car starts making wierd noises.
then it breaks down in the middle of a deserted street when i was trying to find a car shop.
i was pissed.
some mexican guy sees me and pulls over to help.
he guy was hot.
literally hot.
he was sweating like crazy.
which is reasonable considering i was in oklahoma.
he came and looked at my car.
there was some wierd technical term to what was wrong,
but to me it was just a p.o.s. car.
he called a buddy who lived nearby to bring jump cables.
when the buddy got there i recognised him.
it was the same guy who had earlier paid for part of my drink at a rest stop because he was trying to flirt with me.
the guy, whose name turned out to be miguel, jump started my car.
since he was so nice to me,
i gave him my cell number.
then i went to texas.
on the way back to the boring town of plainfield,
i got a call from miguel.
he wanted to see me.
so i stopped for an hour or so,
and me and miguel had lunch.
it was so amazing.
and it never would have happened if my car hadn't broke down,
and my plans hadn't been interupted.
